The Screen Proof module enables easy and fast reproduction of printing plate screen data in perfect colours usingh an inkjet printer.
Nowadays, checking of printing plates is absolutely indispensable. At the present costs and short calculations misprints should be avoided by all means. The permanent production stress again and again may ead to troublesome surprises like missing characters, errors with overprints or in documents. With the CtP screen proof option of Print Production Server the chance is given to check the content of the printing plates in a fast way without major expenditures. No matter if it’s an inkjet printer or the OKI printer series C9600, using the 4C output let’s you identify errors in advance of an expensive production going to the waste-paper basket.
Data generated for your platesetter RIP (1-Bit TIFF, TIFF-G4, etc.) can be output to your inkjet or OKI printer using the PPS screen proof option. PPS screen proof combines the single colour separations and prints them as composite print. In this connection, the quality of the printout is dependent on the resolution of the printer used.
In case no printer is available supported by Print Production Server please simply send us the plate data of a job. We gladly produce a screen proof.
